My preteen daughter and I were lucky to find such a great place to care for and board our horse. We had had difficulty with a recently purchased horse and had nowhere to turn for help. After visiting local equine veterinarians, I was directed to Mr. Priemer. Rick took time out of his day to evaluate my horse that was currently being boarded at a self-care farm. We decided to move her to his more structured facility, where he was able to work with both of us and our horse to determine if we were a good match. He only validated my own thoughts, when he determined she was too much horse for us. Here was a man, so honest, that he was willing to lose out on the boarding fees we were willing to pay, just to keep us safe and do what was best for the horse as he helped us find a great new home for her. Since then, my daughter has had the opportunity to learn about horses and take riding lessons to build her confidence and skills. I have no doubt that had we kept on the way we were going without Rick and Louise, both my daughter and I, and the beautiful strong-willed horse we had bought, could have been seriously hurt. These are great, honest knowledgeable people who really know what they are doing, and you couldn't have your horse at a safer place!
This is a great facility, well maintained, run by a knowledgeable family to participate in horse shows themselves. Excellent feeding and CARE program for the horses. Training and instructions are available. You will like this facility especially if you are into cutting horses.
We have had our horse here for years. Rick and Louise are so great and knowledgeable. They treat every horse like they are their own. Their arena's are so nice and everything is taken care of very well.
An exceptional facility, Priemer Farm is a study in professionalism. Rick and Louise gave me the peace of mind I was searching for. Knowing that my young horse is handled with care by experienced hands in a safe, calming environment and offered only the best quality feed allows me to focus my attention on training and enjoying my time with my horse. My fellow boarders are kind, and considerate, I truly enjoy every moment I am at the barn!
Owner treats every horse as if they were his own. He cares about the horses well being over everything. The facility is fantastic, clean and well organized. I would recommend this farm over all others.
